If for some reason you don't like Tseng, I suggest you leave right now.
Why?
Because, I have a sick obsession with him. I love him to pieces.
...You're probably wondering how I can love a character who didn't even a good portion of the game this much.
Well, that's what explanations are for.

Tseng doesn't even live all the way through the first disc. (*sob*) He is killed by Sephiroth (SEPHY--HOW COULD YOU!?) at the temple of the ancients, and the sad part is no one really seems to give a damn. You know, you'd think with all those healing powers Aeris had, she might have USED ONE to SAVE HIM! Geez, and after she goes on with that crap about how she knew him when they were little and everything. Shame on her. And shame on Cloud too for not pulling out a phoneix down! That really pisses me off. So, of course, I really hate going into the temple of Ancients. *sob*

As everyone knows, Tseng is head of the Turks at the beginning of the game. He seems pretty mean and cruel and he even slaps Aeris (she deserved it *mumbles), but you know what? He's not really mean at all! And if you nitpick every little thing he says like I do, you can see that too. Obviously, Tseng's just doing his job. He seems very, *very* cold, which gives indication that obviously, he doesn't care for what he does too much. When he's *sniff* dying, he almost sounds sorry for everything. Basically, Tseng is just a guy who was doing his job. He's not evil. He's not mean.

If you read the rambles....you probably notice I make Tseng gay....it's just cause--come *on*! No matter what all that crap about him liking Aeris means, no guy who keeps his hair nice like that can be straight. I'm sorry. He's too pretty. Speaking of Aeris, some people think Tseng is old enough to have been starting out in the Turks when VINCENT was working for Shinra. I really don't see how that could work, considering Aeris said she knew him when she was little, and she's only 22. Tseng's gotta be like 30, tops.

Anyway, like I was saying, I really love Tseng. You don't learn much about him in the game at all, but you learn enough that you can draw conclusions about how he acts outside of work. I'm quite sure he's a really nice guy when he's not doing Shinra's dirty work. Oh, and boy am I glad you don't have to fight Tseng in FF7. Not only would he have probably kicked my ASS, I wouldn't have been able to fight him. He's so darn cute. I can barely manage to fight Rufus. But Tseng...no. There is no way I could fight him.
